Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lizard while exploring the culinary scene around the region, and I must say, it left a notable impression. My initial apprehensions about the location quickly faded as I was welcomed by the friendliest receptionist, who made sure we felt at home. The shared lounge area created a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Now, the culinary highlight was undoubtedly the onsite restaurant, where I had the opportunity to savor dishes inspired by traditional recipes from the XV century. Each bite transported me back to history, showcasing the depth of Italian cuisine. The ambiance was reminiscent of Bistros you’d find in bustling old towns, complete with a cozy, inviting vibe. The buffet breakfast was a delightful mix of pastries, fruits, and homemade cakes, though I must admit it was not up to par with my expectations.
